Doing Demos That Count

My kids are on a demo team for tae kwon do, which means that they perform tae kwon do demonstrations in our local area.  Usually they demo, along with their teammates, at local area businesses, clubs, etc.  As a parent, I’ve encouraged the kids to perform demonstrations because I think it helps them with their confidence and forces them to perfect their techniques.   After all, if they can perform in front of thousands of strangers at a tae kwon do tournament (which they have), they certainly have enough confidence to do a lot of things that are outside most people’s confort zones (which they do).

As a business owner and marketer, I totally understand why the demo team exists… to solicite new members to our dojang!

It’s a sound marketing strategy, in theory, but something happened over the weekend that really got me to thinking about the whole thing. Read more

What Do Seeds Have To Do With Direct Mail?

Did you know that Americans get an average of 1.7 pieces of junk mail everyday (I know it seems like at least twice that at my house!)? Why I’m NOT on the ‘Traffic Secrets’ Bandwagon

Traffic Secrets 2.0I can’t believe how many email messages that I’ve received regarding the new Traffic Secrets 2.0 course due out today at noon… it’s completely ridiculous!

But then again, that’s why John Reese makes so much money with his product launches.

I have gotten every kind of email you can image — everything from the “buy this from me and I’ll give you all these bonuses” to “I’m above all this, but buy it from me anyway” to the pre-written email messages in the affiliate area of the Traffic Secrets website.

Since Traffic Secrets is giving away 51% commission on the course (and there is a pretty heafty pricetag), it’s no wonder that so many affiliates are trying to cash in on a huge payday when it releases.  But I really wonder how many affiliates are going to make any sales… aside from the sale that the affiliate buys himself (or herself). Answers In July

The July Issue of Answers eMagazine is finally out and available for your enjoyment (at least I hope you enjoy it!)

In this month’s issue we’ll discuss link trading and find out if it’s worth spending your time on, talk about a killer way to increase your article revenue, and point out some ways that you can actually market your business while helping your child’s school at the same time.

In addition, I also recently joined Dan Lok’s Insiders Club, so there’s a full review of that little gem as well.  You can get your copy of this months issue anytime at:
